My daughter and I went treasure hunting early Saturday morning in San Francisco. In our search for a good cup of coffee we came upon the most gorgeous shop, Collage Gallery, tucked into a warm little space on Potrero Hill. I can’t possibly do the space justice with my words but it is truly a shop full of inspiration.
The owner, Delisa Sage, is an accomplished collage artist and the one of a kind jewelry and gifts are made by local artists as well. The shop aesthetic is one of playfulness and discovery with drawers full of wonderful things. The price points are more than reasonable, which is so refreshing and leaves me able to purchase many great things there for my friends this Christmas. Boxes of unique rubber stamps, letter press pieces, tiny Buddhas, breathtaking jewelry, whimsical hair clips, a very sweet hostess – the shop was a true find for us. As we wandered a few doors up to Farley’s, we felt uplifted by all that we had seen and touched there.
For those that love Apartment 46, I can promise you that Collage will inspire you.
All my best,
Melisa
