Hidden away on a residential street, next to an ethnic market, and two doors down from a barbershop, our store is not exactly easy to see or find if you’ve never been here. However, a year ago we experienced a happy “accidental finding.” San Francisco-based interior designer Jonathan Rachman found us when he was going to get food nearby. That visit was our intro to Jonathan and his amazing aesthetic. We’ve been lucky to have him pop by when he’s in the area, and despite being extremely busy and consistently featured in top design magazines such as Elle Decor and September’s California Home + Design (pps. 70-72), he is always so friendly, charming, and encouraging.
In fact, he always gives me hope that someday my ship will also come in. Humility is a rare trait and finding an upwardly mobile luxury designer who is so humble is pretty much impossible. I am super-excited about the recent launch of his design studio and am watching expectantly as he takes the world by storm!
Now if only some of his magic can rub off on me!
