Monster has come so far on the journey to restoration but she still has a looong way to go. I knew it would be a long process but it's taken much longer for so many reasons.

🖤 Sometimes it's frustrating feeling like it'll never be "done" but other times I'm excited all over again that I'm driving a literal beast of a car and I couldn't love the square body, squat suspension any more than I do. My tires make my heart happy. Obsessed (clearly) so I hang on.

🖤 It took me several years to find all the auto body parts I've collected and there's a few more things I'm on the hunt for still but I realize that it may never be truly finished. A new thing goes in and something else breaks. It's a constant cycle.

🖤 I have always restored cars and it's a sickness. I need to get her finished and I will. I hope to get her paint and upholstery done next but we'll see what the universe has in store for us.

Embracing their Mexican heritage through bold, modern patterns and curated vintage accessories, I designed their primary bedroom to be cozy, welcoming, elegant, unexpected and more aligned with who they are. 🥰

My favorites are the mother of pearl chandelier, the pair of framed 1800s floral etchings and the ironing board nook-turned accessory shelves. ❤️‍🔥

Heading to sale: Sacred objects, beautiful bowls, antique clay beads, elegant blown glass small but precious things. This is a sneak peek. 🥰

For as long as I can remember I've had altars in my room. As a child I didn't know I was creating altars, but I did know I was creating small groups of things that felt beautiful, special and important to me. They were my talismans to keep me safe.
.
.
Now I have shelves filled with curiosities and things that feel sacred to me -- from found seed pods to antique clay beads to 1900s sterling serving trays -- I also now have a proper antique altar in my room. 😍 Things come and go from it depending on what I want to surround myself with. It's fairly small but holds things I want to be reminded of.

.
I think having a spot in your home where you can clear your mind, sit in appreciation and enjoy beauty lis critical to your well-being. Having a collection of sacred objects you can be in that space with is so healing and grounding.

On offer are items from my own sacred object collection ready to move on from me to create a place of beauty for someone else. ❤

It feels like forever since I've posted any of my design work so I'm happy to have these phone photos my sweet clients shared of their new primary suite bathroom addition in San Mateo. I designed the whole thing almost entirely virtually. Without their day to day help on site we never could have pulled it off.💙

We overcame so many insane obstacles during the pandemic years as box after box of tile arrived shattered, the vanity disappeared and pieces were backordered until the end of time.

.
These awesome people took all 2 million design pivots in stride, each forced change causing us to revise our plans again and again and yet, it turned out better than we imagined! Super in love with the varied tile colors and textures. 💙
.
.
Besides the heated floor, my favorite touch is the dog bone shower drain. They foster rescue dogs and are great advocates for pet adoption. It was a fun way to acknowledge my clients' fun personalities.

I also snuck in two medicine cabinets that don't look like awful 70s motel pieces. 😅 The clients insisted!
